Engineering Technician Setup and operate all machining centers and equipment (CNC vertical/horizontal machining centers, Swiss style machines, lathes, and manual machines) ensuring that production rates are met. Program CNC vertical machining centers and lathes utilizing CAD/CAM Software or programming manually Program Swiss machines with Part Maker Obtained or will obtain an associate degree in Manufacturing related field OR has obtained Certification(s) and/or Technical diploma in Manufacturing related field Minimum of 3 years of advanced CNC programming, set-up and operating CNC vertical/horizontal machining centers or manual lathes and mills, and Swiss machining. Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning tolerance and blueprint reading; ability to read precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, gauges and micrometers. Advanced technical math (machine shop math) and Word/Excel/Access software skills CAD/CAM/Solid Works/Virtual Gibbs experience preferred.
