Since 1956 UCP has been a recognized and trusted organization offering valuable services for families and people with varying disabilities and delays. More than our name, we support individuals with autism, epilepsy, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, delays in speech, mobility and development, etc. Additionally, our combined services support families living in Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock and Sauk Counties.
We are dedicated to understanding disabilities, creating opportunities and promoting a community where everyone belongs. Through our model programs, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, youth and adults with a wide range of disabilities and their families.
Beyond cerebral palsy, we provide services to individuals with autism, epilepsy, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, as well as delays in speech, mobility and development.
Our programs include:
Birth to 3 Connections – Provides information and early intervention services for young children with delays and their families.
Youth Resources – Provides services and supports to empower and educate child care providers and community members on including children and teenagers with disabilities.
Respite Care – Assists families in recruiting, training and securing respite care (caregiver relief) for their children, teenagers and adult children who have developmental disabilities.
Community Outreach – Provides free information and consultation support to families throughout southern Wisconsin. Offers public education to improve awareness of varying issues related to disabilities.
