TOWN OF BELOIT Wisconsin POSITION AVAILABILITY: Public Works (Wastewater and Road Dept.) Type of position: Hourly GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Work at Road Dept. and Wastewater Treatment Plant as necessary. Performs a vari- ety of semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of wastewater treat- ment facilities and systems. Performs a variety of un-skilled and semi-skilled technical maintenance work, and operates a variety of equipment in the operation, repair, and maintenance. Work nights and weekends plowing snow and other emergencies. Operate tractors mowing parks and road sides. Ability to work weekends on a rotation basis for wastewater lab work and any alarms or call as they are received. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equal is required. Ability to obtain a DNR Basic Wastewater Operators License with subgrades in Biological Solids/Sludge Handling, Processing & Reuse, Biological Treatment: Suspended Growth Processes, Disinfection, Laboratory, Nutrient Remov- al: Total Phosphorus, and Solids Separation within three (3) years. Ability to obtain and hold a valid Class BCD CDL drivers' license with an endorsement 'N' for tank vehicles within six (6) months of hire. Prefer electrician, ARC GIS, CDL or diesel me- chanic experience a plus.
