At the Family Services 5th Annual Fall Luncheon on Oct. 16, she shares her personal and family story and how her experiences taught her what matters in life and how to develop the resilience to take on challenges in ways leading to a healthier, happier life. Her talk, "We Build Hope... Reflections on Childhood," launches Family Services We Build Hope annual luncheon series. Ms. Klett, known for promoting tourism in Wisconsin, was the Emmy-award winning host of the "Discover Wisconsin" television and radio show for 18 years, then was Secretary of the state's Department of Tourism for eight years. Since this spring, Ms. Klett has been President and CEO of Visit Lake Geneva. She is a native of Beloit and a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and Beloit College. Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Northem linois, Inc. hosts engaging speakers at its annual luncheons to shine new light on issues affecting children and families.
